Traditional full brick and concrete construction with spacious staircase and voids. Traditional wardrobe door detail that compliments the high level of finish specified by the clients.

We decided to do a major renovation of our home which was a 1930’s Californian bungalow which had 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Due to us being in a Heritage conservation area we engaged an architect to design the home and make it into a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 1 study home.
As a result of this we ran a tender process with a number of builders and chose SE Martin Pty Ltd. The main reasons for choosing SE Martin were cost effectiveness, site visits and ability to talk to clients with in progress and completed projects, and knowledgeable and pragmatic answers to our queries.
Throughout the building process we found Simon and his team promptly responded to our questions or concerns. They provided advice on different solutions throughout the build to make the build better. They handled administrative aspects professionally and in writing for both builder and client reference.

Simon and his team provided recommendations regarding sourcing and pricing for PC items and were extremely open about site visits, and took the time to step through what had been done and what was next. They maintained the building site in good condition and provided excellent attention to detail and quality of the finishes.
We decided to also work with Simon and his team to do all the joinery and this made for a smooth process in the build. Being first time builders, our 10 month build was stress free and we would definitely recommend Simon and his team. If we were to do another build, we would engage Simon for the design, structural engineering, hydraulics and DA approval.
